Google Pixel XL is a bit better than the Sony Xperia 5, with an 81.3 score against 81. The Google Pixel XL is a older, just a little thicker and a little heavier phone than the Sony Xperia 5. Sony Xperia 5 counts with a little faster processor than Google Pixel XL, because it has more processing cores and a greater amount of RAM.

The Google Pixel XL features a bit more vivid screen than Xperia 5, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit higher screen density and a little higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. The Xperia 5 counts with a superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Xperia 5 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 512 GB.

Google Pixel XL has just a little better battery life than Sony Xperia 5, because it has 3450mAh of battery capacity instead of 3140mAh. Sony Xperia 5 and Google Pixel XL both count with extremely similar cameras, because although the Google Pixel XL has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, it also counts with a bigger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a better resolution back camera.

Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it costs a bit more than the Sony Xperia 5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Sony Xperia 5. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Sony Xperia 5, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
