Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia 5, having an 87.1 score against 81. Despite being the best cellphone in our current comparison, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro design is a little thicker and heavier than Sony Xperia 5. Huawei Mate 30 Pro and Xperia 5 feature very similar processors, and although the Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a higher amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Xperia 5 has a little sharper screen than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display and a quite lower 1080 x 2520px resolution, it also counts with a bit greater screen density. Huawei Mate 30 Pro shoots way better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia 5, and although they both have a same size aperture and the same video resolution, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro also has a lot more MP back facing camera, a lot larger sensor shooting way better quality photos and better video frame rates.
Xperia 5 features a bit bigger memory for applications and games than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a much longer battery duration than Xperia 5, because it has a 43% more battery size.
