Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 5 is slightly better than the LG V20, with an 81 score against 77. Even though the Sony Xperia 5 is a little thicker than the LG V20, it's a bit lighter and newer. The Sony Xperia 5 features a bit better processing unit than LG V20, because it has more cores and 2 GB more RAM memory.
The LG V20 counts with a little bit better screen than Xperia 5, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a little better quantity of pixels in each screen inch. LG V20 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low-light captures and videos and a tinier sensor capturing lower quality videos and pictures, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the LG V20 also counts with a back facing camera with a way higher resolution.
The LG V20 features a slightly better storage for apps and games than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG V20 counts with a bit superior battery life than Sony Xperia 5, because it has a 3200mAh battery size against 3140mAh.
Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG V20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG V20. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the LG V20, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
