Comparison review
Galaxy M31s is a bit better than Xperia 5, having an 88 score against 81. Even though the Galaxy M31s is newer than Xperia 5, it is heavier and somewhat thicker. Xperia 5 features a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy M31s. They have the same number of cores and a 6 GB RAM memory. Xperia 5 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy M31s, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the screen and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2520.
The Samsung Galaxy M31s counts with a greater camera than Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light images, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution and a much larger sensor.
The Sony Xperia 5 and the Galaxy M31s count with very similar memory to install applications and games, both of them have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy M31s features a superior battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 5, because it has a 91% greater battery capacity.
