Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 5 is a little bit better than the Galaxy S6 edge+, with a score of 81 against 79.3. The Sony Xperia 5 is a much newer device than Galaxy S6 edge+, although it's a bit heavier and somewhat thicker. The Xperia 5 has a better performing processor than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a larger number of cores and a greater amount of RAM memory.
Galaxy S6 edge+ has a sharper display than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a just a bit higher pixels number in each inch in the screen. Galaxy S6 edge+ has a bit better camera than Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same back-facing camera sensor size, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a way more MP back facing camera.
Sony Xperia 5 has a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 128 GB internal storage and a SD card slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Sony Xperia 5 has a little longer battery life than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 5 percent larger battery capacity.
Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy S6 edge+, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S6 edge+.
