The Moto G9 Play is a bit better than Xperia L4, having a 76.7 score against 71.8. Both phones in this review come with Android OS, but the Moto G9 Play has the older 10 version and Xperia L4 has Android 9.0 Pie. Despite being the best cellphone we are comparing here, the Moto G9 Play design is somewhat heavier and a bit thicker than the Xperia L4.
The Xperia L4 counts with a little more vivid display than Moto G9 Play, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per display inch and a quite better 720 x 1680 pixels resolution. The Moto G9 Play has a processing unit that's just as good as the Sony Xperia L4 one, and although the Moto G9 Play has more RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
The Moto G9 Play shoots way better photos and videos than Sony Xperia L4, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Moto G9 Play also has a bigger aperture, a way larger sensor providing a much higher image quality and a lot higher resolution back facing camera.
The Motorola Moto G9 Play and Xperia L4 count with incredibly similar memory capacity for apps and games, both of them have a SD memory slot that admits up to 512 GB and the same 64 GB internal storage capacity. Moto G9 Play has a really longer battery lifetime than Xperia L4, because it has a 40 percent larger battery capacity.
