Sony Xperia V has a global score of 64.2, which is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia M2's 58.6 overall score. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Sony Xperia V has the previous 4.3 version while Sony Xperia M2 has Android 4.4.4. Despite of the fact Sony Xperia V is older and thicker than the Sony Xperia M2, it's construction is still somewhat lighter.

Xperia V and Sony Xperia M2 both have extremely similar processors, and although the Xperia V has an inferior number of cores and a slower graphics processing unit working at 400 MHz, they both have the same RAM memory amount. The Xperia V has a bit more vivid screen than Sony Xperia M2, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixels count per inch of screen and a better 1280 x 720px resolution.

Sony Xperia V's storage to install games and applications is just as good as the Xperia M2 one, both of them have a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 32 GB and exactly the same internal storage capacity. Sony Xperia V shoots way better photographs and videos than Xperia M2, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Sony Xperia V also has a back facing camera with way more mega-pixels.
