The Xperia PRO-I is better than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, having a 96.3 score against 83.4. Even though the Xperia PRO-I is a better cellphone than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, we must tell that it is also older, somewhat heavier and just a little thicker. Both phones in this review have Android OS, but Xperia PRO-I has an older 11 version and Motorola Edge 40 Pro has Android 13 version.
Xperia PRO-I features a much powerful processing unit than Motorola Edge 40 Pro. Both have 8 CPU cores and the same RAM memory amount. Sony Xperia PRO-I has a slightly better looking display than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher display pixel density and a lot better 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution.
Xperia PRO-I counts with a very superior storage for applications and games than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, because it has 512 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1 TB. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro features just a little better battery lifetime than Xperia PRO-I, because it has a 4600mAh battery size instead of 4500mAh.
Motorola Edge 40 Pro has a way better camera than Sony Xperia PRO-I, because it has a bigger aperture, a way better video quality, a lot higher resolution back-facing camera and a much larger camera sensor shooting way higher quality videos and pictures.
