Amazon Fire Phone is a notably newer and somewhat thinner phone than Sony Xperia S, but it is also just a bit heavier.

Amazon Fire Phone has a display that is just as good as Xperia S's display, because although the Amazon Fire Phone has a bit inferior pixels amount in each screen inch, and they both have the same exact 1280 x 720 resolution, it also counts with a quite bigger display. Amazon Fire Phone features a quite superior performance than Sony Xperia S, because it has a greater amount of RAM, a larger number of cores (and also faster) and a better graphics processor running at 450 MHz.

The Amazon Fire Phone's memory capacity for games and applications is very similar to Xperia S's one, they have equal internal storage. The Amazon Fire Phone counts with a way better battery life than Xperia S, because it has 2400mAh of battery capacity. The Amazon Fire Phone counts with a bit better camera than Sony Xperia S, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Amazon Fire Phone also has better 30 frames per second video frame rate, a bigger aperture to take better low light images and a better 13 megapixels resolution back camera.
