Amazon Fire Phone Review

Amazon Fire Phone is an incredible device launched back in the year 2014, having an extremely powerful Quad-Core processing unit ticking at 2.2 GHz, a medium 4.7 inches capacitive display, and 2 cameras, a 13 MP back-facing camera and a 2.1 mega-pixels front facing camera.

Amazon ships this phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 8974 chip, packing a great Quad-Core processing unit speeding at 2200 megahertz and a big 2 GB RAM memory. Graphic rendering generally uses a lot of processing time, so it also has an Adreno 330 graphic processing unit clocking at 450 megahertz to unload the processor. The Amazon Fire Phone includes an amazing 4.7 inches display with a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, providing this device with a perfect graphic quality. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

This phone has wi-fi connectivity (which it can share with other devices around, acting as a wireless router or modem), 4G (LTE) fast internet connection and 3G fast connection type, using HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Amazon Fire Phone works with a Nano SIM card for GSM carriers.

This phone uses a 2400 mAh huge Li-Ion non-removable battery that can keep it running for many hours without charging it at all. Amazon says this device has a 22 hs talk time and a 285 hs stand by time. An issue to take into account is that the Amazon Fire Phone's battery is non-removable so you can't buy a new battery when it starts losing capacity, even though with so much capacity you will probably discard this cellphone before it becomes an issue.

This phone also includes some useful features as NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your cellphone close to another NFC device or tag), Bluetooth (3.0, EDR) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Compass.

Amazon offers the Amazon Fire Phone for $ 135, which is not so cheap for a device this level.
