Comparison review

The HTC One M9 has an overall score of 77.7, which is slightly better than the Sony Xperia X's 72.9 score. Although it's the best phone in this review, we must note that it's also an older, a little bit heavier and noticeably thicker phone. HTC One M9 counts with a faster processing unit than Xperia X, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the HTC One M9 also has a larger number of cores (and faster), an extra GPU and a 64-bits processing unit.

The HTC One M9 features a brighter screen than Xperia X. Both have a same size display, the same 1920 x 1080px resolution and a higher quantity of pixels per inch of screen. Xperia X has a slightly better storage capacity for games and applications than HTC One M9, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal storage, the Xperia X also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 200 GB.

The HTC One M9's camera is just as good as the camera in Xperia X, because although the HTC One M9 has a smaller back-facing camera sensor capturing worse quality pictures and videos, a back camera with a lower resolution and a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light photos and video, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 video quality.

HTC One M9 features a little better battery life than Sony Xperia X, because it has an 8 percent greater battery size.

Despite of being the best phone of the ones we are comparing, the HTC One M9 is also cheap compared to the other phone.
