Huawei P30 Lite has an overall score of 77, which is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia X's score of 72.9. Huawei P30 Lite's design is extremely newer and a bit thinner, but just a bit heavier than Sony Xperia X. Huawei P30 Lite has a bit better CPU than Xperia X, because it has a larger amount of RAM and a greater number of faster cores.
Sony Xperia X has a slightly better screen than Huawei P30 Lite, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a little lower 1080 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a just a little better pixel density. The Huawei P30 Lite counts with a way bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia X, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB and 96 GB more internal memory.
Huawei P30 Lite counts with superior battery duration than Xperia X, because it has 3340mAh of battery capacity instead of 2620mAh. The Sony Xperia X shoots better videos and photos than Huawei P30 Lite, although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for taking pictures and/or video in low light situations, a worse video definition, a tinier back camera sensor which gives a lower photo and video quality and a worse 23 megapixels resolution back camera.
Although Huawei P30 Lite is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xperia X, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xperia X. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Xperia X, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
