Google Pixel 2 has a general score of 81.6, which is better than Xperia XA1 Ultra's overall score of 72.8. Even when Google Pixel 2 and the Xperia XA1 Ultra were released only a couple of months apart, Google Pixel 2 is way lighter and a bit thinner. The Google Pixel 2's CPU is just as good as the processor in Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra, both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount.

The Google Pixel 2 shoots slightly better photos and videos than Xperia XA1 Ultra, because although it has a back facing camera with a way worse 12.2 mega pixels resolution and a smaller sensor shooting worse quality videos and photos, it also counts with a bigger aperture for better photos in low-light environments.
Google Pixel 2 features more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xperia XA1 Ultra, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. Xperia XA1 Ultra and Google Pixel 2 have really similar battery performance.
