LG G5 has a score of 76.1, which is slightly better than Sony Xperia XA1's global score of 71.7. The LG G5 is an older and somewhat heavier cellphone than Sony Xperia XA1, but LG made it just a little thinner anyway. LG G5 has a more vivid screen than Sony Xperia XA1, because it has a way higher resolution of 1440 x 2560, a little larger display and a much better pixels density.
The Xperia XA1 features a bit superior processor than LG G5, because although it has lesser RAM memory, it also counts with more cpu cores. The LG G5 features much more storage capacity for applications and games than Xperia XA1, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the LG G5 also has a SD memory slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.
The LG G5 features greater battery life than Sony Xperia XA1, because it has 2800mAh of battery capacity. The LG G5 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Xperia XA1, because although it has a way less mega-pixels camera and a smaller back-facing camera sensor shooting worse quality pictures, it also counts with a much better (4K) video quality and a bigger diafragm aperture.
Although LG G5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Sony Xperia XA1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Sony Xperia XA1. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the LG G5, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Sony Xperia XA1, letting go some features and specifications.
