Comparison review
The OnePlus 8 Pro is just a bit better than Sony Xperia XA1, with a 77.2 score against 71.7. OnePlus 8 Pro's construction is way newer, but extremely heavier and just a little bit thicker than Sony Xperia XA1. The OnePlus 8 Pro has a little better hardware performance than Xperia XA1, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has 5 GB more RAM memory.
OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a much more vibrant screen than Sony Xperia XA1, because it has a way larger display, a much higher 1440 x 3168 pixels resolution and a way greater screen pixel density. OnePlus 8 Pro counts with more memory capacity to install applications and games than Xperia XA1, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage capacity.
OnePlus 8 Pro features a way better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XA1, because it has a 4510mAh battery capacity instead of 2300mAh. The OnePlus 8 Pro features a way better camera than Sony Xperia XA1, because it has a much higher (4K) video definition, a much larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a back-facing camera with a much better 48 mega-pixels resolution and a larger camera aperture to take better captures and videos in poorly lited situations.
Although OnePlus 8 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than Sony Xperia XA1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Sony Xperia XA1. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Sony Xperia XA1, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
