Comparison review
The Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a general score of 80.4, which is better than Xperia XA1's 71.7 score. Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a heavier device than Xperia XA1, but both are 0.31inches thick. Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a much better looking screen than Xperia XA1, because it has a way better 1440 x 2560 resolution, a way higher display pixel density and a bit larger display.
Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games than Xperia XA1, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 256 GB, the Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has 64 GB internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a processing unit that is very similar to the CPU in Sony Xperia XA1, and although the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition has more RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
Xperia XA1 takes just a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for low-light images and video, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video definition, the Xperia XA1 also counts with a lot more megapixels back-facing camera and a larger camera sensor.
Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a much longer battery life than Xperia XA1, because it has a 39% greater battery size.
Although Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it is way more expensive than Sony Xperia XA1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Sony Xperia XA1. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Sony Xperia XA1, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
