Galaxy Note3 has a general score of 77.7, which is a bit better than the Sony Xperia XA1's 71.7 overall score. Despite being the best cellphone in this comparison, the Galaxy Note3 construction is a lot older, heavier and a little bit thicker than Sony Xperia XA1. Xperia XA1 has a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note3, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM memory, the Xperia XA1 also has a larger number of 2.3 gigahertz cores.
The Galaxy Note3 counts with a little sharper display than Xperia XA1, because it has a lot higher 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, a better display density and a little bit bigger display. Xperia XA1 captures a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note3, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Xperia XA1 also has a much bigger back camera sensor capturing way better quality videos and photographs, a bigger aperture to take better low light photography and videos and a back-facing camera with way more mega pixels.
The Samsung Galaxy Note3 features a little bit better memory capacity for apps and games than Xperia XA1, because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that supports 192 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage. Galaxy Note3 has a way better battery lifetime than Xperia XA1, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity against 2300mAh.
