Xperia Z5 Premium has an overall score of 79.8, which is much better than the Sony Xperia XA1's 71.7 global score. The Xperia Z5 Premium design has the same thickness than the Sony Xperia XA1, but it's notably heavier. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a little better performance than Sony Xperia XA1, and although they both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a graphics processor.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a lot better looking screen than Xperia XA1, because it has a lot better 3840 x 2160 resolution, a little bit bigger display and a lot better amount of pixels per inch in the display. The Xperia XA1 features just a bit bigger storage for games and applications than Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory, the Xperia XA1 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 256 GB.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a much better battery performance than Xperia XA1, because it has a 49 percent bigger battery size. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a slightly better camera than Sony Xperia XA1, and although they both have a back camera with a 23 MP and a same size camera sensor, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a larger aperture and a much better (4K) video quality.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium costs a lot more money than Sony Xperia XA1, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
