Comparison review
Google Pixel 4 is a bit better than the Xperia XZ Premium, getting an 81.9 score against 79.8. Although the Google Pixel 4 is just a little thicker than Xperia XZ Premium, it's somewhat lighter and also noticeably newer. The Google Pixel 4 has a little bit better hardware performance than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Google Pixel 4 also has 2 GB more RAM.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium counts with a much more vibrant display than Google Pixel 4, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with way more pixels per inch in the screen and a much better resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels. The Xperia XZ Premium features much more memory for apps and games than Google Pixel 4, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Xperia XZ Premium also has an external SD slot that allows up to 256 GB.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a bit better camera than Google Pixel 4, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for capturing photographs or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a way higher resolution camera and a bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Xperia XZ Premium counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Google Pixel 4, because it has a 15 percent larger battery size.
