Xperia XZ Premium has an overall score of 79.8, which is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 10 Pro's 79.2 general score. The Xperia XZ Premium construction has the same thickness than the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, but it's a little heavier. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium features a much more vibrant display than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way greater display pixel density and a much higher resolution of 2160 x 3840px.
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro counts with a processor that's very similar to the processor in Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and although the Huawei Mate 10 Pro has a higher amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Xperia XZ Premium features just a bit bigger storage to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 256 GB.
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro has longer battery life than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a 24 percent larger battery capacity. Xperia XZ Premium counts with a slightly better camera than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for low-light images and videos, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a much bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting way better quality videos and pictures and a way better 19 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.
