The Sony Xperia XZ Premium is a bit better than the Moto G8 Power, getting a score of 79.8 against 76. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium body is just a bit lighter and thinner than the Moto G8 Power, although it was released many years before. Xperia XZ Premium features a bit more powerful processing unit than Moto G8 Power. Both have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM memory.

The Xperia XZ Premium features a much sharper screen than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way better resolution of 2160 x 3840px and much more pixels per inch in the screen. Moto G8 Power counts with just a bit bigger storage for applications and games than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Moto G8 Power also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 512 GB.

The Xperia XZ Premium shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for shooting images and/or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a more MP camera in the back and a bigger camera sensor.
