Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a bit better than the Xperia XZ Premium, getting an 80.4 score against 79.8. The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a lighter phone than Xperia XZ Premium, but they have the same thickness. Sony Xperia XZ Premium features a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and much more pixels per inch in the display.
Galaxy Note Fan Edition has as much memory for games and applications as Sony Xperia XZ Premium, both of them have equal internal storage and a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. Xperia XZ Premium counts with a bit faster processor than Galaxy Note Fan Edition. Both have a Octa-Core processor and the same RAM memory amount.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium and the Galaxy Note Fan Edition have incredibly similar battery performance, although the Galaxy Note Fan Edition has 3200mAh of battery capacity against 3230mAh. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for shooting pictures in low-light environments, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a lot better 19 mega-pixels resolution camera and a bigger back camera sensor which gives a better image and video quality.
