Google Pixel XL is slightly better than the Xperia XZ1, with an 81.3 score against 78.3. Despite being the best we are comparing, Google Pixel XL's design is older, somewhat thicker and a little heavier than Xperia XZ1. Google Pixel XL features a bit better screen than Sony Xperia XZ1, because it has a better resolution of 1440 x 2560, a greater display density and a bit larger screen.
Xperia XZ1 features a much greater storage capacity for apps and games than Google Pixel XL, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. Xperia XZ1 has a little better hardware performance than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Xperia XZ1 also has a greater number of cores.
The Xperia XZ1 takes a bit better videos and photos than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same camera aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a 0.43 inches sensor, the Xperia XZ1 also has a camera with a lot higher resolution. Google Pixel XL counts with greater battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ1, because it has 3450mAh of battery capacity instead of 2700mAh.
Google Pixel XL costs more than the Xperia XZ1, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
