Comparison review
The LG V50 ThinQ is slightly better than the Xperia XZ1, with a general score of 83.7 against 78.3. Although LG V50 ThinQ is newer than the Xperia XZ1, it's heavier and thicker. LG V50 ThinQ has a little bit better display than Xperia XZ1, because it has a greater pixel density, a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px and a larger display.
LG V50 ThinQ counts with a little bit better performance than Xperia XZ1, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the LG V50 ThinQ also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The LG V50 ThinQ features a better memory for games and applications than Xperia XZ1, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB, the LG V50 ThinQ also has 64 GB more internal storage.
LG V50 ThinQ counts with a much longer battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ1, because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 2700mAh. The Xperia XZ1 counts with a little bit better camera than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rate and a lot smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xperia XZ1 also counts with a larger camera sensor shooting higher quality videos and pictures and a lot more mega pixels back-facing camera.
