Comparison review

The Xperia XZ1 has a general score of 78.3, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Droid Turbo's 76.4 overall score. The Xperia XZ1 is a much newer device, and it's also lighter and extremely thinner than Motorola Droid Turbo. The Motorola Droid Turbo counts with a brighter screen than Sony Xperia XZ1, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Motorola Droid Turbo also has a higher display pixels density and a better 2560 x 1440px resolution.

The Motorola Droid Turbo features just a little better performance than Xperia XZ1, because although it has 4 less processing cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processor. The Xperia XZ1 has a superior storage to store more apps and games than Motorola Droid Turbo, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB and more internal storage.

The Motorola Droid Turbo has a way better battery duration than Xperia XZ1, because it has a 3900mAh battery size against 2700mAh. Sony Xperia XZ1 takes a bit better photographs and videos than Motorola Droid Turbo, although it has a worse video quality and a less megapixels resolution back camera, they both have the same aperture.

Although Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Motorola Droid Turbo, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Motorola Droid Turbo. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Xperia XZ1, else you can save some dollars and get the Motorola Droid Turbo, letting go some specifications.
