Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is a bit better than the Xperia XZ2, with an 84.2 score against 79.1. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro design is noticeably newer and incredibly thinner than Xperia XZ2's, but it's somewhat heavier. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a slightly better looking display than Xperia XZ2, because although it has a bit lower quantity of pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a larger screen, a really brighter screen and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400px.
The Xperia XZ2 counts with an extremely better processor than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro takes better videos and photos than Xperia XZ2, because it has a much larger camera sensor taking much better quality videos and photographs, a bigger aperture to take better low light photography, a way more mega-pixels back facing camera and a way higher video resolution.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a superior memory capacity for apps and games than Xperia XZ2, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a much better battery life than Xperia XZ2, because it has a 5500mAh battery size instead of 3180mAh.
