Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a score of 86.5, which is a little bit better than the Xperia XZ2's global score of 79.1. Samsung Galaxy M31's construction is newer, thinner and just a little lighter than the Xperia XZ2. Sony Xperia XZ2 features a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2160, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen and much more screen brightness.
The Galaxy M31 features a little bit more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ2, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy M31 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 512 GB. The Sony Xperia XZ2 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy M31, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
Samsung Galaxy M31 shoots much better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia XZ2, because although it has worse video frame rate, and they both have the same video quality, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also counts with a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light images, a way more mega pixels back-facing camera and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing much higher quality videos and photos.
Galaxy M31 features a much longer battery life than Xperia XZ2, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
