Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 edge+ is just a bit better than Xperia XZ2, having a global score of 79.3 against 79.1. The Galaxy S6 edge+ is an older cellphone than Xperia XZ2, but Samsung was able to build it incredibly lighter and way thinner. Galaxy S6 edge+ features a bit better screen than Xperia XZ2, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also has a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a just a little better pixels density.
The Xperia XZ2 has a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Xperia XZ2 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 400 GB. Sony Xperia XZ2 features a quite better performance than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Sony Xperia XZ2 also has a greater number of cores.
Xperia XZ2 counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for low-light photography and video, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia XZ2 also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality, a better resolution back facing camera and higher 60 fps video frame rate.
Xperia XZ2 has a bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 6% bigger battery capacity.
