Xperia XZ3 has an overall score of 79.6, which is a little bit better than Huawei P20's overall score of 78.1. The Xperia XZ3 body is heavier and incredibly thicker than the Huawei P20. Both phones in this comparison review have the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system). The Xperia XZ3 counts with a little bit better performance than Huawei P20. Both have a Octa-Core processing unit and 4 GB of RAM memory.
Sony Xperia XZ3 features a more vivid display than Huawei P20, because it has a quite bigger screen, a higher resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels and more pixels per display inch. Xperia XZ3 captures a little bit better pictures and videos than Huawei P20, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for taking photos and/or video in low light environments, and they both have the same video resolution, the same video frame rate and a 0.43 inches sensor, the Xperia XZ3 also counts with a much more megapixels camera.
Sony Xperia XZ3 has a bigger memory for apps and games than Huawei P20, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 512 GB. Huawei P20 has just a little better battery life than Xperia XZ3, because it has a 3400mAh battery capacity.
Although Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei P20. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia XZ3, else you can save some money and buy the Huawei P20, resigning some features and specs.
