Sony Xperia XZ3 has a global score of 79.6, which is a little bit better than the Motorola DROID Turbo's overall score of 77.9. Even though Sony Xperia XZ3 is just a bit heavier than Motorola DROID Turbo, it's somewhat thinner and also much newer. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android operating system, but Sony Xperia XZ3 has 9.0 Pie version and Motorola DROID Turbo has Android 4.4.4.

The Xperia XZ3 and the Motorola DROID Turbo feature very similar processing units, because although the Motorola DROID Turbo has a smaller amount of RAM and an inferior number of cores, it also counts with a graphics co-processor. Motorola DROID Turbo features a bit better looking display than Xperia XZ3, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.

Xperia XZ3 has a much greater storage for games and applications than Motorola DROID Turbo, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia XZ3 also has a SD card slot that holds up to 512 GB. The Motorola DROID Turbo features better battery life than Xperia XZ3, because it has a 3900mAh battery size instead of 3330mAh.

Sony Xperia XZ3 shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Motorola DROID Turbo, although it has a worse (4K) video quality and a lower resolution back facing camera, they both have a F2 diafragm aperture.

Although Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Motorola DROID Turbo, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Motorola DROID Turbo. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xperia XZ3, else you can save some dollars and buy the Motorola DROID Turbo, giving up some specs and features.
