Google Nexus 6P is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia Z2a, with a general score of 80.3 against 73. Google Nexus 6P's body is just a bit heavier but noticeably thinner than the Sony Xperia Z2a. The Xperia Z2a features a bit sharper screen than Google Nexus 6P, although it has a little smaller display, a lot worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a just a little worse display pixels density.
The Xperia Z2a features a bit superior processor than Google Nexus 6P, because although it has a lower number of cores , and they both have the same RAM amount, the Xperia Z2a also counts with an additional GPU. The Google Nexus 6P takes a little bit better videos and photos than Xperia Z2a, although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a camera with a way lower 12.3 MP resolution, they both have a same size sensor.
The Google Nexus 6P features much more storage for applications and games than Xperia Z2a, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage capacity. Google Nexus 6P has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Xperia Z2a, because it has a 15 percent larger battery size.
Although Google Nexus 6P is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xperia Z2a, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia Z2a. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Google Nexus 6P, else you can save some money and buy the Xperia Z2a, giving up a couple specs and features.
