Huawei P20 has a score of 78.1, which is just a bit better than the Xperia Z2a's score of 73. The Huawei P20 body is notably thinner but a bit heavier than the Xperia Z2a. Both devices in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei P20 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Xperia Z2a has Android 4.4.2, offering some nice extra features.
The Huawei P20 and Sony Xperia Z2a have extremely similar processing units, because although the Huawei P20 has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with 1 GB more RAM memory and a higher number of cores (and also faster). Xperia Z2a counts with a more vivid display than Huawei P20, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a little bit greater screen pixel density.
The Huawei P20 has a superior memory to store more apps and games than Sony Xperia Z2a, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage. The Huawei P20 counts with a little better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Z2a, because it has a 3400mAh battery capacity.
The Huawei P20 takes a bit better photographs and videos than Xperia Z2a, although it has a lower (4K) video quality and a camera with way less MP, they both have a same size back-facing camera sensor.
The Huawei P20 is a bit more expensive than the Xperia Z2a, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
