OnePlus 8 has a general score of 76, which is just a bit better than Xperia Z2a's score of 73. OnePlus 8 is a way thinner but a little heavier phone than Xperia Z2a. The Xperia Z2a features a little bit better screen than OnePlus 8, because although it has a way smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, it also counts with a just a little greater display pixel density.
OnePlus 8 has a much bigger memory for games and applications than Xperia Z2a, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 112 GB more internal memory. The OnePlus 8 has a bit faster CPU than Xperia Z2a, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher number of cores and a greater amount of RAM.
OnePlus 8 counts with a really longer battery duration than Sony Xperia Z2a, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity. OnePlus 8 features a greater camera than Sony Xperia Z2a, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the OnePlus 8 also has a bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors, better video frame rates and a lot more megapixels back camera.
Although OnePlus 8 is a better device, it costs more money than Xperia Z2a, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xperia Z2a. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Xperia Z2a, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
