Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is much better than the Xperia Z2a, having an 82.1 score against 73. Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is a thinner but heavier device than the Xperia Z2a. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Xperia Z2a has Android 4.4.2 version, so it gives you some nice extra features and performance tweaks.
Sony Xperia Z2a features a more vivid screen than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a lot smaller display and a little bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a just a little greater pixel count in each inch in the screen. The Galaxy A8 Star has a superior memory capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z2a, because it has 64 GB internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 400 GB.
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star's processor is very similar to Sony Xperia Z2a's processor, because although the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and a higher number of cores (although slower). Galaxy A8 Star features just a bit better camera than Xperia Z2a, although it has a worse (4K) video quality, a smaller sensor shooting worse quality photographs and videos and a camera with a way worse 16 mega-pixels resolution.
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star counts with greater battery life than Xperia Z2a, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
