Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 5 is much better than the Xperia Z2a, with an 81 score against 73. Sony Xperia 5's construction is noticeably thinner but just a little heavier than Xperia Z2a. The Sony Xperia Z2a features a little more vivid display than Xperia 5, although it has a little bit lower count of pixels per screen inch, a little worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a bit smaller screen.
The Xperia 5 has a bit better processor than Sony Xperia Z2a, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores (and also faster) and more RAM. The Sony Xperia 5 features a much bigger memory to install games and applications than Sony Xperia Z2a, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory.
Xperia 5 features a slightly better camera than Sony Xperia Z2a, although it has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a tinier camera sensor shooting lower quality images and a way worse 12 megapixels resolution back facing camera. Sony Xperia 5 has just a little better battery duration than Xperia Z2a, because it has a 5 percent greater battery capacity.
Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xperia Z2a, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xperia Z2a. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xperia 5, else you can save some dollars and get the Xperia Z2a, resigning a couple features and specs.
