Comparison review

The HTC U Ultra has a global score of 77, which is just a bit better than the Xperia Z5 Compact's 75.1 general score. Although HTC U Ultra is heavier than Xperia Z5 Compact, it's thinner and newer. The HTC U Ultra has a little bit better screen than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a way higher pixel density, a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a bigger screen.

The Sony Xperia Z5 Compact has a little faster processor than HTC U Ultra, because although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a greater number of cores and an extra GPU. HTC U Ultra counts with a much bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has 64 GB internal storage and an external memory slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.

HTC U Ultra features just a little better battery performance than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity. The Xperia Z5 Compact features a little bit better camera than HTC U Ultra, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a same size camera sensor, the same video frame rates and a same size aperture, the Xperia Z5 Compact also has a camera in the back with a lot higher 23 megapixels resolution.

Although HTC U Ultra is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
