Huawei P smart S is a bit better than Xperia Z5 Compact, getting a global score of 77.2 against 75.1. Although the Huawei P smart S is heavier than the Xperia Z5 Compact, it's somewhat thinner and extremely newer. Both phones in this review have Android OS, but Huawei P smart S has a newer 10 version while Xperia Z5 Compact has Android 5.1, counting with a couple additional features and some performance improvements.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Compact has a little sharper screen than Huawei P smart S, although it has a way lower 1280 x 720 resolution, a much smaller screen and a just a bit lower amount of pixels per inch of screen. The Huawei P smart S counts with a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 256 GB.
The Xperia Z5 Compact has a bit better hardware performance than Huawei P smart S, because although it has less RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia Z5 Compact also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The Huawei P smart S counts with a really longer battery duration than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
Xperia Z5 Compact captures much clearer photos and videos than Huawei P smart S, although it has a much worse resolution camera in the back, they both have a same size aperture.
