Comparison review
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a general score of 79.8, which is slightly better than Asus ROG Phone's 77.1 score. Although Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is extremely older than the Asus ROG Phone, it's body is just a little bit thinner and just a bit lighter. The Asus ROG Phone features just a little better hardware performance than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, and they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with an incredibly better looking display than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much greater pixels density and a way better resolution of 3840 x 2160px. The Asus ROG Phone counts with a very superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The Xperia Z5 Premium has a much better camera than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have a same size diafragm aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing higher quality videos and photographs.
Asus ROG Phone has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3430mAh.
