Comparison review
Huawei Mate X is much better than the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, having an 89.4 score against 79.8. Both phones in our current comparison have Android OS, but the Huawei Mate X has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1, so it counts with lots of additional features. The Huawei Mate X is a way newer cellphone than the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, but it's notably heavier and thicker.
Xperia Z5 Premium counts with an incredibly better looking display than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a way higher amount of pixels per display inch and a better resolution of 3840 x 2160px. The Huawei Mate X features much more memory for games and applications than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity.
Huawei Mate X has a little faster processing unit than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, and they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei Mate X also counts with more RAM memory. Xperia Z5 Premium has a superior camera than Huawei Mate X, although it has a way smaller back-facing camera sensor taking way lower quality videos and photographs and a way less megapixels back camera, they both have a same size aperture.
The Huawei Mate X counts with superior battery life than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xperia Z5 Premium, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xperia Z5 Premium. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate X, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Xperia Z5 Premium, resigning some specs and features.
