Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is just a bit better than the Huawei P10 Plus, getting a global score of 79.8 against 79.8. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium design is older, thicker and a bit heavier than the Huawei P10 Plus. Xperia Z5 Premium has an incredibly better display than Huawei P10 Plus, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a better pixel density and a much better 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution.
Huawei P10 Plus features a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 96 GB more internal memory and an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB. Huawei P10 Plus and Xperia Z5 Premium both have similar processing units, because although the Huawei P10 Plus has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, and they both have 8 cores, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium shoots much better photographs and videos than Huawei P10 Plus, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the same video frame rates and a same size aperture, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a much more mega-pixels camera. Huawei P10 Plus features a little longer battery duration than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 3750mAh battery size.
