Comparison review

Xperia Z5 Premium is just a bit better than the LG G5, getting a score of 79.8 against 76.1. These devices have Android OS, but Xperia Z5 Premium has older 5.1 version and LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo. Although it's the best device in this review, it must be told that it is also just a little thicker and somewhat heavier.

Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than LG G5, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores and an extra graphics processing unit. The Xperia Z5 Premium has a way better looking display than LG G5, because it has a much higher resolution of 3840 x 2160, more pixels per inch in the screen and a quite larger screen.

The LG G5 has a lot bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the LG G5 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Xperia Z5 Premium features a slightly better camera than LG G5, and although they both have the same video resolution, the same 30 fps video frame rates and a same size camera aperture, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a larger sensor providing a better image quality and a much better 23 mega pixels resolution back camera.

Xperia Z5 Premium counts with longer battery lifetime than LG G5, because it has a 23% greater battery capacity.

The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium costs a little more than LG G5, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
