Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a general score of 79.8, which is slightly better than the Motorola Defy (2021)'s 77.2 overall score. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has an older 5.1 version and Motorola Defy (2021) has Android 11. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is an extremely older phone than Motorola Defy (2021), but Sony made it much lighter and incredibly thinner.

Xperia Z5 Premium has a much better looking screen than Motorola Defy (2021), because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution and a way better screen pixels density. The Motorola Defy (2021) has a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a SD card slot that allows up to 512 GB and 32 GB more internal memory.

The Xperia Z5 Premium features a bit superior processing unit than Motorola Defy (2021), because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The Motorola Defy (2021) takes a bit better photographs and videos than Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have the same video resolution, the Motorola Defy (2021) also has a much larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a lot better 48 MP resolution back-facing camera, faster 60 frames per second video frame rate and a bigger diafragm aperture for better low-light photography and videos.

Motorola Defy (2021) has a very superior battery lifetime than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
