Both phones we are comparing have Android OS (operating system), but Moto G100 has a more recent 11 version while Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1, so it gives a lot of extra features and performance enhancements. Even though the Moto G100 is much newer than the Xperia Z5 Premium, it's thicker and somewhat heavier.
