Comparison review

The Xperia Z5 Premium is a bit better than the Moto G8 Power, with a 79.8 score against 76. Both phones we compare here have Android OS (operating system), but Xperia Z5 Premium has the previous 5.1 version while Moto G8 Power has Android 10 version. Xperia Z5 Premium's construction is a little bit lighter and somewhat thinner than the Moto G8 Power, although it was released 5 years before.

Xperia Z5 Premium counts with an incredibly better display than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 3840 x 2160 and a lot greater pixels quantity per inch in the screen. The Xperia Z5 Premium features a little better hardware performance than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have 8 cores, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a GPU.

The Moto G8 Power has a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has an external memory card slot that supports up to 512 GB and more internal memory. The Moto G8 Power features a much longer battery performance than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.

Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a bit better camera than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a camera with much more megapixels and a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.

Although Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Motorola Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Motorola Moto G8 Power. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, else you can save some money and buy the Motorola Moto G8 Power, letting go a couple features and specs.
