Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has an overall score of 83, which is slightly better than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium's 79.8 general score. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 design is way newer, but a little thicker and a little bit heavier than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium. Both phones in this comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1 version.

The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has an incredibly better looking screen than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a much greater amount of pixels per display inch. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a much better memory for applications and games than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 256 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity.

Galaxy Note8 counts with a processor that's just as good as the processor in Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although the Galaxy Note8 has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, it also counts with 3 GB more RAM. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a slightly better camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for shooting photos and/or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same video quality, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking better quality videos and photographs and a lot higher resolution camera in the back.

The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with just a bit better battery life than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 3430mAh battery capacity.

Despite of being the best phone in our current comparison, the Galaxy Note8 is also very cheap compared to the other phones.
