Comparison review
The Galaxy S8 Active has a global score of 81.9, which is a bit better than Xperia Z5 Premium's score of 79.8. The Galaxy S8 Active design is newer, but heavier and way thicker than Xperia Z5 Premium. The Xperia Z5 Premium has a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.
The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 3840 x 2160 and a greater pixels count in each screen inch. The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a little bit better camera than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a back facing camera with a way higher 23 mega pixels resolution and a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a higher image quality.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has a much greater storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 256 GB and more internal memory. Galaxy S8 Active counts with just a little better battery performance than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
