Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is a little bit better than the Xperia Z5 Premium, with a global score of 81.4 against 79.8. These phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1, offering lots of additional features and some performance improvements. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE's design is way newer, lighter and a little bit thinner than Xperia Z5 Premium.
The Xperia Z5 Premium features a much better looking display than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way better 3840 x 2160 resolution and way more pixels per inch of screen.
