Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a global score of 79.8, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max's global score of 77.5. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium's design is somewhat lighter but a little bit thicker than Xiaomi Mi Max, and they were released with only 9 months difference. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a much sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much better pixel number per display inch and a much higher resolution of 3840 x 2160px.
The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has less RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a much longer battery duration than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 4850mAh of battery capacity instead of 3430mAh.
