Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a score of 82.1, which is much better than vivo iQOO 12 Pro's score of 71.5. These devices come with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has 9.0 Pie version and vivo iQOO 12 Pro has Android 14, providing the user a couple nice extra features and some performance improvements. Despite of the fact that the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is notably older than the vivo iQOO 12 Pro, it's body is somewhat thinner and a little bit lighter.
The vivo iQOO 12 Pro has a much better display than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a bit larger display, a higher 1440 x 3200 resolution and a higher screen density. Vivo iQOO 12 Pro has a bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity.
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star counts with a lot better processing power than vivo iQOO 12 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. The vivo iQOO 12 Pro takes way better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have the same diafragm aperture, the vivo iQOO 12 Pro also has a much more mega-pixels camera, a lot bigger back camera sensor which gives a way higher photo and video quality and a much higher 7680x4320 video definition.
Vivo iQOO 12 Pro counts with a way better battery performance than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity instead of 3700mAh.
