Xiaomi Mi 5s is just a bit better than the vivo X50, with a general score of 76.4 against 73. Both devices we are comparing here use Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Mi 5s has a more recent 6.0 Marshmallow version while vivo X50 has Android 10, so it provides a couple additional features. Although Xiaomi Mi 5s is noticeably older and just a little thicker than the vivo X50, it's construction is still lighter.
The vivo X50 has a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a larger number of cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Mi 5s has a little bit better screen than vivo X50, because although it has a way smaller display and a little bit worse 1080 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a bit more pixels per display inch.
